A few weeks ago, my fellow editor, Ana Escalante, traded her commuter flats for Merrell hiking boots to travel from New York City to coastal Maine to stay at The Claremont Hotel. I’m a city girl through and through, but when I saw photos from her trip with FP Movement, I knew I needed to plan my own fall escape. She spent her days hiking and boating through Acadia National Park, practicing yoga, eating lobster, and participating in a community cleanup with the National Park Foundation, a nonprofit organization that FP Movement has partnered with to help protect and preserve America’s national parks.

It was a week full of adventure and fellowship, but I’d be remiss not to mention the cool activewear pieces she styled for her trip. I’m talking quarter-zip fleeces, hiking shoes you can wear on and off the trails, and FP Movement’s best-selling Never Better Bike Shorts and Leggings, to name a few. We’ve been longtime fans of Free People’s apparel, and now FP Movement has become an editor-favorite destination for shopping stylish activewear, too. Shop a few of our collective favorites below.
