Just weeks ahead of the 2024 election, Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong star in The Apprentice, about Donald Trump’s beginnings in New York under the mentorship of lawyer Roy Cohn, hits theaters (check out EW’s cover story on the movie here). The SNL movie Saturday Night, centered on the 90 minutes leading up to the series debut in 1975, expands to theaters nationwide. And Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh star in We Live in Time, opening in limited release.
On TV, Abbott Elementary returns for its third season, after leaving fans with that season 3 finale cliffhanger about Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams). Other season premieres include Outer Banks, Tracker, and Superman & Lois for its final year. Meanwhile, other shows are wrapping up their seasons, including Bad Monkey, Slow Horses, Pachinko, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, and Big Brother.
