‘Big Brother’ winner Taylor Hale wants to host jury roundtable (exclusive)

Big Brother season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby announced recently that he would not be hosting the show’s annual jury roundtable on finale night this season. But another former winner is ready and waiting to fill those shoes, and says she would do pretty much anything to be the next jury roundtable host.

Season 24 champ Taylor Hale is the franchise’s most popular post-pandemic player, and would certainly make sense as a new jury roundtable host seeing as how she has appeared on the show in several capacities since her 2022 victory. That includes her stint on Big Brother Reindeer Games, as well as being a guest earlier this season to discuss her thoughts on the current players.

And what exactly is her interest level in taking over the role now that Kirby has stepped aside? “I would sell my firstborn to do it,” Hale told Entertainment Weekly at the DIRECTV Gets Real party, co-hosted by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly. “It’d be an absolute dream, but I’ll wait on the email.”

However CBS does handle the jury roundtable, it will be a big change without Kirby, who first hosted the segment for season 15 back in 2013. For her part, Hale says she has not yet been contacted about interviewing the Big Brother jury on the Oct. 13 finale night, but her interest is firm, and now official. “We’ll see if they call, email anything,” says Hale. “But I’m absolutely dying to do it, so I’m throwing my hat in the ring, Big Brother.”

Whether she ends up with the finale gig or not, the former champ also has her thoughts on who is playing the best and worst games among those still in the house. “Right now, Chelsie,” she says when it comes to playing the best. “It’s her game to lose. Chelsie’s playing the best game by far.”

And on the flip side? “Of who’s left in the house. I would say Kimo’s playing the worst game,” Hale says. “But MJ? Really rough HOH. I don’t think she can recover from it. We’ll see.”

But the world’s biggest Lay’s potato chip fan says she does not play favorites, and is not rooting for any specific player to take home the $750,000: “I’m just rooting for a good game. I know that sounds so lame, but literally, I just want a fun ride all the way to the end…. Give me some fun!”

And what does the season 24 winner make of this season’s biggest personality, the recently evicted Angela Murray? “We need more Angelas on the cast,” Hale opines. “I’m sorry, I know she’s chaotic for the people in the house, but as a viewer, I need more Angelas. I need to be fed entertainment-wise, please.”

Time will tell if Hale gets a chance to interview juror Angela on finale night. Just don’t touch her charcuterie board.
