Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Joke Whether He Has More Kids

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos aren’t afraid to poke a little fun at their family.

On Live with Kelly and Mark on Tuesday, July 30, the two spoke about which of their kids they think is the funniest, with both agreeing that their son Joaquin, 21, is the least funny.

“I think the two of you are so similar,” Ripa, 53, says. “You are basically the mirror images of each other, you know.”

“And that’s why I’m judging his humor harshly,” Consuelos, also 53, posits.

“Yes. You judge him harshly,” Ripa responds. “Are we talking about the same person?” Consuelos asks.

“Yes! It’s not that…you know, I think that when I say mirror image, people think I’m talking about Michael because Michael is your mirror image,” Ripa says of the couple’s 27-year-old son. “But I feel like your other self is the other one who shall remain nameless.”

“And who knows! I may have other kids out there that I don’t even know about,” Consuelos jokes. “That’s true,” adds Ripa.

“Every time our doorbell rings, I’m like, ‘Here it comes,’ ” Ripa teases as Consuelos insists that he doesn’t have other kids.

In addition Joaquin and Michael, the couple shares daughter Lola, 23.

Ripa celebrated her son’s 20th birthday on Feb. 24, 2023, by posting adorable throwback photos of Joaquin on her Instagram Story. She also gave her son a special shout-out on that morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan.

“It is my son’s 20th birthday today. The newborn,” she said before adding that it goes by in a “flash.”
