New Disney Dreamlight Valley Feature Is A Complete Game-Changer

Disney Dreamlight Valley launched its brand-new update, the Jungle Update, on October 9 and its abundance of new and improved features is an exciting new development. The update has introduced a brand-new Star Path called “The Night Show,” which has been inspired by rock music, Disney Villains, and Disney Princesses. The Jungle Update also brought the introduction of Timon and Pumbaa in The Lion King Realm, which players can now access and return to in a daylight cycle, and there have been a series of important bug fixes as well as gameplay improvements which have enabled players to have a much smoother gaming experience.

There is one feature in the brand-new Jungle Update that stands out as a significant new addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Rather than just cosmetically wearing a pair of wings in the game, the update now allows for players to equip the wings as a Glider. The Glider has been implemented as an exciting new gameplay feature which allows a player’s character to glide slightly above the ground, while the wings display a new fluttering effect, an animation choice which is more suitable for wings.

Why Everyone Loves DDV’s Glider

New, Faster Movement

The introduction of the brand-new Glider effect in Disney Dreamlight Valley has the game’s community buzzing about the game again. Many are expressing their disbelief that this has not been a feature in the game already, but do admit their delight at its implementation through the new Jungle Update. The Glider feature not only provides an extra element of fun and playfulness to the gameplay, but it also allows for easier navigation of the Disney Dreamlight Valley world. Flying with the Glider equipped allows players to explore the world much quicker than by just running normally, and it doesn’t use a character’s energy too quickly.

To use the Glider effect, players need to eat a cooked meal or two to increase their energy bar with gold fuel. From there, access the Wardrobe menu, select Gliders and equip the wings. To fly, players just need to sprint as they would normally in the game, but instead of running, their character will glide above the ground while the Glider is equipped. If players find their character runs out of gold fuel in the energy bar, it’s handy to keep a few prepared meals in their inventory to consume and replenish the energy bar.

One thing that players of Disney Dreamlight Valley seem to be agreeing on since the Jungle Update is that the brand-new Glider effect is one of the most exciting gameplay features that the game has seen recently. With magic being at the core of many Disney movies, the addition of the Glider feature seems to have been introduced at a stage when it really was long overdue. Nonetheless, it’s clear that the feature has players of Disney Dreamlight Valley excited about the game again, and it is invigorating to think about what improvements and new features might be next in the game.
