Simone Biles’ home construction has come a long way while she was busy winning gold medals!

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, Biles, 27, shared her first update on the building progress at her and her husband Jonathan Owens’ Texas mansion since returning home from the 2024 Olympics in new photos posted on her Instagram Stories.

The post included a series of “👀” emojis as various shots of rooms in the couple’s house were displayed with matching white walls and decor that appeared to be nearly finished.

One photo showed their new kitchen with the waterfall-style island covered in dramatically veined black-and-white stone. The counters and backsplash are clad in the same design, while a gold light fixture and softly glowing coffered ceiling add even more glam.

Biles also snapped a selfie while standing in one room in front of a wall covered with floor-to-ceiling mirrors — possibly a future home gym — as building materials and planks of wood lay to the side on the floor.

Another photo showed a space with a white tile floor, white-and-gray marble walls and a large window that appears to be a massive walk-in shower.

Biles revealed her dressing room in the final shot, which looked almost complete. It featurres white dressers and glass shelves lining the walls as well as an island with gold handles in the middle of the space.

On Monday, Aug. 12, Biles revealed she was finally home following her epic performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, including winning three gold medals and one silver.

The gymnast posted a glimpse of the stunning sunset she came home to from her backyard as she snapped her pool and some lounge chairs with the caption, “home 🥹,” adding, “never been so happy” in another post.

She and her NFL star husband first documented the building process of their new home on social media in September 2023, five months after tying the knot.

Biles has continued to update fans on the renovation as she so far has shown off the geometric designs of the walls and floors, her stunning kitchen and a wooden staircase with black detailing on the railings.

The athlete has also been transparent about the less-glamorous parts of her homebuilding journey, including when she hit a slight setback in November 2023.

“Yesterday I was here from 11am-5pm…..🥴. I thought it was going to be a 30-minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into,” she shared at the time.

While she didn’t reveal the details of the issue, she did say she “made progress” after asking her dad for help.

“Called my dad for backup yesterday bc I panicked! but I’ve made so much progress & I’m so proud of myself. Jonathan will deal with the end result oops……..I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things,” she added.
