The first footage from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has been released.
At D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event’s presentation for Marvel Animation, where Screen Rant is in attendance, the first Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man footage shows how Doctor Strange plays a role in altering Spider-Man’s origin story. Check out the full description below:
“The footage begins with Peter Parker at Midtown High for the first day of school. A big portal with monster opens out of thin air. Peter is saved by Doctor Strange. A spider drops from the portal after Strange takes the monster back through it. The spider bites Peter right as he meets Nico Minoru. The theme that is playing is a remix rap using samples from classic Spider-Man themes. A few months late, Peter dons a low tech suit and fights two criminals using tech. Norman Osborn is Peter’s man in the chair. One bad guy is a speedster, with his powers coming from technological boots. Another villain has two guantlets with energy blades. Spider-Man trips the speedster, who knocks into the other thug.”
