T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Have Been Living Together for ‘the Past Few Weeks’ Couple Reveals

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have made the next step in their relationship. 

The pair revealed they’re living together during Monday’s Sept. 30 episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast titled “Catching Up on a Few Things…”

Holmes, 47, said that he and Robach moved in together thanks to her 21-year-old daughter Ava, whom she shares with ex-husband Tim McIntosh.

Updating fans on his and Robach’s “living situation,” Holmes announced they are officially cohabitating. He added that they go “back and forth” between their respective apartments as they’re within walking distance, and Robach confirmed they’ve been living together for “the past few weeks.”

She explained that Ava lived in a “grungy” apartment infested with roaches, due to a squatter and hoarder living next door. Robach made it clear they tried everything but weren’t able to get rid of the insects.

Ultimately, Ava and her roommate pleaded with Robach to let them live with her and she obliged.

“I’ve just said, ‘Hey y’all, knock yourselves out. I’ll be at T.J.’s,’ “ Robach added.

Holmes reiterated that they’re “living together” full time, which he noted is perfect for their early-morning schedules. Robach pointed out that Ava is moving out of her apartment this weekend, so she and Holmes “might be living together longer.”

“This is what you do for your kids,” he added of his and Robach’s living situation. “I know you’re excited to be able to help them out, and this is what it’s for.”

He then told Robach, “I’ve enjoyed the time that we’ve had together. It’s been a little different but I’ve liked it … where we know where we’re going to end up every night instead of having a plan.”

After Robach described it as a “trial run,” Holmes joked that he was trying to find “something wrong” with their living situation. They both agreed that their apartment is “too cold” and “too hot.”

“Other than that, we’ve been good,” Holmes said.

Robach and Holmes have reached several relationship milestones together after they first sparked dating rumors in November 2022.

At the time, Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig. Robach and Holmes were also placed on hiatus from their former positions at GMA3: What You Need to Know. However, the couple denied cheating on their now-former spouses. A source also told PEOPLE that there was no overlap between their romance and their respective marriages.

A year later, they announced their new podcast and made their first red carpet debut together.
