I often get asked what my favourite beauty brands are. As a beauty editor, it’s a difficult question to answer, as I’m lucky enough to get to try a lot of them for my job, from the most luxurious brands to up and coming launches. But, if I could only use one beauty brand for the rest of my life, it’s highly likely I’d choose Beauty Pie. So many of us at Who What Wear UK are fans of Tan-Luxe’s self-tanning drops, but at £36 it can be a little expensive when it comes to regular use. After trialling Beauty Pie’s gradual tanning drops, I can confirm they’re equally as great. I’ve found that they deliver a very subtle glow that is easily buildable, so they’re ideal if you’re very fair and don’t want anything too dark developing. It has a lightweight, watery serum texture that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy when mixed with your skincare. You can also apply it neat onto the skin if you require a deeper glow, which you can easily maintain by applying a couple of times a week.

For so long, Bobbi Brown’s under eye corrector was the only thing that could effectively disguise my dark circles, but I was also impressed when I reviewed Beauty Pie’s Superluminous Under Eye Genius. It comes in three shades depending on the undertones of your under eyes, and it basically makes dark circles disappear. The creamy texture melts into the skin, leaving behind a radiant finish that makes a great primer for concealer, but in all honesty you might find it good enough on its own to brighten the under eye. I like to pat it in with a fingertip to effortlessly melt it into the skin before going in with a touch of concealer. I actually end up using less concealer generally because this does such a great job.

Imagine you’ve cleaned your home from top to bottom and your last load of laundry has finished air-drying in the sunshine—that’s exactly how this Beauty Pie candle smells. Candles at this price-point usually make me suspicious; not all of them have a great throw. But this one filled my flat and I could still detect the scent the next day. It truly smells so great and is such a fitting candle to light as a reward when you’ve ticked off everything on your list of chores. Tatcha’s moisturiser has a special place in my heart. It’s loved by makeup artists, celebrities and editors alike—it’s iconic. While nothing will ever beat the OG, I do, however, love a bargain. Beauty Pie’s Shinkai moisturiser reminds me of the luxurious melting texture of Tatcha’s moisturisers, but at a more affordable price tag. I recently put a friend onto Beauty Pie’s moisturiser and has since bought another jar after telling me how great it is. The lightweight gel texture instantly sinks in and floods the skin with moisture without being greasy or at all heavy.
