Disney Dreamlight Valley initially launched with a smorgasbord of unique ingredients to find and harvest to make its many meals.Its collection has only grown in the years since its release. So it goes without saying that major expansions like The Storybook Vale are likely to offer up a ton of fresh stuff to discover if you want to make every new meal. One of these new ingredients is Sea Grapes, which are used to make a handful of appetizers and entrées.
If you’ve looked in your collection, you may have noted that Sea Grapes are found in The Bind biome, but if you’ve checked Goofy’s Stall, you’ll also notice that you can’t purchase seeds for this fruit. So where exactly do you get Sea Grapes in The Storybook Vale?
Where To Get Sea Grapes In The Storybook Vale
The answer to where to find Sea Grapes in The Storybook Vale is actually in its name! To get Sea Grapes, you’ll need to go fishing. However, you won’t catch this ingredient by simply casting your lure into the usual color-specific pools. Instead, you’ll have to fish outside of pools in any other spot in the water within The Bind biome. You’ll sometimes catch Koi as well, but just keep at it and you’ll eventually start catching Sea Grapes, too.
While it is frustrating that Sea Grapes share a spawn with a fish, bringing a fishing buddy along can speed things up as you’ll get extra Sea Grapes each time you catch some.
Here are the current meals that use Sea Grapes:
- Loaded Sea Grape Porridge – Sea Grapes, Oats, Oats, Ambrosia
- Salt-Pickled Sea Grapes – Sea Grapes, Salt Crystal, Any Spice
- Sea Grape Chia Pancakes – Sea Grapes, Chia Seeds, Wheat, Shovelbird Egg
- Seaweed Salad – Sea Grapes, Radish, Any Vegetable, Black Pepper
Of course, The Storybook Vale is set to receive the beefy second half of its main story in a future update, so there’s always a good chance that more meals using Sea Grapes could be added alongside that.
