October is the best month of the year and that is not up for debate. Perfect weather, pumpkin-flavored everything, the return to drinking hot coffee—I could go on. It really is the start of fall in my book, and with a new season comes the desire to make a few apartment updates. For my living room, I’m looking to bring in warmer tones with throw pillows, vases, and dried flowers. For my bedroom, it’s time to pull out the weighted blankets and Le Labo candles. My dining room table will get a nice upgrade with olive and baby-blue embroidered napkins, Sabre flatware, and the most gorgeous carafe I’ve ever seen. But my home updates are not just about pretty things (though that is very Libra-coded)—I need a few practical items as well, like an immersion blender to create yummy soups and a laundry set that my sensitive skin can actually tolerate.
