This captured my attention because it’s another layering moment I’ve spotted recently and because of the way it was styled—particularly Sylvie Mus’s sophisticated pairing of a long sweater with a midi skirt, Hanna Johansson’s luxe slip-skirt ensemble, and Caroline Lin’s stunning monochromatic trench-coat outfit.

However, the current interpretation of belted styling is distinct and refined. Instead of the chunky braided belts and Western-inspired disc belts layered over ribbed tank tops, the current trend calls for more sophisticated and tasteful iterations. Think thin to medium-width leather belts in classic tones like black and ivory elegantly worn with sheer tanks and fine-knit sweaters.
