Ben Affleck Flashes Huge Smile in L.A. as J.Lo Attends Toronto Event

The last time Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez prepared for the release of a shared film, they were months into a breakup.

Now, 20 years later, history is repeating itself.

As J.Lo walked the red carpet Sept. 6 at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival’s premiere of Unstoppable, in which she plays the mother of wrestler Anthony Robles, her estranged husband—a producer on the biopic—was back in Los Angeles.

And Affleck, 52, appeared to be in great spirits. Wearing a blue suit and aviator sunglasses, the Oscar winner flashed a big smile as he was photographed walking with an unidentified man.

While Lopez and Affleck’s fellow co-producer Matt Damon were in Toronto to celebrate the film, the Air star remained in Los Angeles for work and to spend time with his and ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, E! News has learned.

Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck in Los Angeles Aug. 20, more than two years after they married in Las Vegas after a whirlwind rekindled romance. In her filing, the Hustlers actress noted the pair had separated in April.
