Lucy from the Fallout TV show has gotten a perfect recreation in a stunning cosplay image, bringing the character to life in vibrant detail. The Prime Video show, based on Bethesda’s video game series, follows Vault Dweller Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) as she leaves Vault 33 to search for her father in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. Her outfit in the series reflects that of playable Vault Dwellers across the video game franchise, her role in the cast of Fallout being a major way the storyline pushes forward.

Now, cosplayer Brianna Torres has released a photo of herself dressed as Lucy from Fallout, showing off a detailed cosplay image bringing the show’s main character to life. In the image, the cosplayer can be seen in a Vault Dweller jumpsuit, brandishing a gun from the series and wearing a Pip-Boy around her other wrist. The image is accompanied by one of Purnell’s Lucy in the show, revealing that, while she has more items at her disposal, her cosplay gets all the important details right. Check out Torres’ cosplay below:

What Torres’ Lucy Cosplay Reveals About The Fallout TV Show

Simplicity Can Be Iconic

Lucy sports a very simple outfit up through the end of Fallout season 1, with her Vault Dweller suit using a simple blue and yellow design. Similar to the character in the series, Torres’ outfit has gold on the zipper and collar, alongside a belt-like golden strap around the waist. While the cosplay’s color scheme is brighter than the more muted rendition in the TV series, it shows how iconic the franchise’s outfit is despite being so simple.

Lucy’s outfit is also a core reference to the player character in most of the games, as they too are often Vault Dwellers leaving the safety of the underground on a crucial mission. This is where Lucy’s gun and Pip-Boy come into play, both of which are carried by player characters in the source material. Her outfit coupled with the tools at her disposal essentially make her a stand-in for the player role in the show, making her outfit even more iconic because of how familiar it is to those who’ve played the games.

Torres is clearly passionate about the series, having crafted a detailed outfit that makes us wonder what Lucy’s next steps are going to be when Fallout season 2 arrives. With the ruins of New Vegas teased as an important location for the show moving forward, it remains to be seen how the main character’s story will progress moving forward. Perhaps she’ll end up in outfits beyond her Vault Dweller gear, marking a new change for the show when she appears next.
