Netflix’s The Circle season 7 is right around the corner, and fans will not have to wait for long before the premiere. The reality competition debuted in 2020, with The Circle season 6 premiering on April 17. It is based on a British series of the same name where the contestants communicate via a voice-controlled social media application and aren’t allowed to meet until the finale or when someone is blocked. In The Circle season 6, alliances were formed, and there were plenty of shocking reveals from catfishes and an AI robot that caused havoc on the show.

Eventually, Brandon Baker, who entered The Circle as a catfish, portraying his friend Olivia, took home $100,000. The Circle Season 7’s News

The Circle season 7 finally got a release date, and Netflix confirmed it will start streaming on September 11.

Notably, Netflix hasn’t released information on who their next group of influencers on the show could be. The Circle fans will have to wait a little bit longer to get that information. According to Netflix on its Tudum website, Karen Weber, the art director, confirmed she had to redesign the apartments after The Circle season 6 wrapped up filming to prepare for season 7.

“It’s the sandcastle theory, because you build this beautiful thing and then you let it all just get washed away, and it’s done. The rooms have their moments, and then you have to move on.”

The Circle Season 7’s Confirmed?

In November 2023, Netflix announced The Circle seasons 6 and 7 renewals, confirming that both seasons were filmed in Atlanta. Season 7 was likely filmed right after season 6 concluded, and that was clearly true as The Circle is set to premiere in less than a month. According to Distractify, a staff member who had previously worked on the show indicated that filming took approximately three weeks. This means that if filming started immediately after The Circle season 6 wrapped, the post-production stage was already in motion when the last season began.

The Circle Season 7’s Release Date

The Circle season 7 will premiere on September 11 on Netflix, just four months after The Circle season 6 finale. The episodes will air as follows: episodes 1-4 on September 11, Episodes 5-8 on September 18, Episodes 9-12 on September 25, and the finale episode will air on October 2. The reason why the two seasons were released so close to each other is they were filmed back to back. The Circle usually airs two seasons in a year, but this is the first time they have aired this close to each other.

The Circle Season 7’s Potential Cast

Michelle Buteau will most likely return as The Circle season 7 host, as she is the narrator for the trailer. However, the full The Circle season 7 cast has not been revealed. It’s unclear when Netflix will release the cast, but it will likely be closer to the premiere date. They did show a glimpse of the contestants, including one person with a dog, but their faces were not shown. The Circle season 7 could have non-human contestants like they did last season as well.

The trailer for The Circle season 7 was released on August 14 by Netflix. In the trailer, host Michelle is talking about the new season, starting by introducing the premise of the show. Then she goes on to say that The Circle season 7 will have more shocking twists and that the game is about to be very “disruptive.”

The trailer also shows a couple of people, one who looks to be a male while the other two might be females judging by the outfits, with one of them holding an adorable puppy. None of the contestants in the trailer have their faces shown, so the cast is still unknown. The trailer ends with the release date, which is September 11. So far, The Circle season 7 looks like a must-watch this year.
