Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore are back together again!

The stars, who played Jack Pearson and Rebecca on the NBC drama This Is Us, reunited on Wednesday, Aug. 28 for That Was Us — a rewatch podcast hosted by the show’s former costars Moore, Sterling K. Brown (Randall Pearson) and Chris Sullivan (Toby).

Moore, 40, and Ventimiglia, 47, celebrated their reunion by posing for a nostalgic selfie, over two years after the This Is Us series finale aired.

“#ThisIsUs now and #ThatWasUs then…🤯,” two photos shared to the podcast’s Instagram account were captioned.

In the first post, Ventimiglia and Moore recreated a pose they did on set with each other when the series was still airing. The first picture was snapped on the podcast set, while the second was from their time on set. In both photos, Moore, who is pregnant with her third child, showed off a baby bump as her character Rebecca was also pregnant in the original photo.

In a follow-up post, Moore and Ventimiglia were joined by Brown, 48, and Sullivan, 44, on the set of the podcast.

“Current plans: Recording a very special episode of #ThatWasUs with J̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶P̶e̶a̶r̶s̶o̶n̶ Milo Ventimiglia!!! 🤯🤯🤯 #ThisIsUs,” the caption read.

Ventimiglia’s character’s name being crossed out in the message appears to be a reference to Jack’s death in the series.

During the podcast episode, Brown and Sullivan surprised Moore with Jack’s urn. Next, the group discussed what they kept from the This Is Us set once the series ended.

Moore revealed that she took Rebecca’s moon necklace, Sullivan said he bought and now drives the wagoneer that belonged to Jack and Rebecca, and Brown took photos from Randall and Beth’s home.

They all admitted to taking some pieces of their characters’ wardrobe once the show wrapped.

Though Ventimiglia’s That Was Us reunion may have come as a surprise to fans, the actor has kept up with his TV family.

In May, the actor showed his support for his former costar and onscreen son, Niles Fitch (young Randall Pearson), who graduated from the University of Southern California. Ventimiglia’s onscreen daughter, Hannah Zeile (young Kate Pearson), was also present for the milestone achievement.

“Congratulations @nilesfitch,” Zeile, 26, captioned a photo of the trio, adding a series of emojis that included a graduation cap, a bottle of champagne, two fingers crossed and a red heart.

This Is Us first aired on NBC in September 2016 before ending after six seasons in May 2022.

The show followed siblings Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Brown) and their parents Rebecca (Moore) and Jack (Ventimiglia). Multiple time jumps were used, showing stories that took place in the present as well as flashbacks to the siblings’ childhood and flash-forwards to the future.

This Is Us is now streaming in full on Netflix.
