Sister Wives star Meri Brown is sharing more about some of the harrowing things that have happened to her, like overcoming dealing with a stalker, on a new podcast appearance. Meri, who was Kody Brown’s first wife and spent over 30 years of her life married to the patriarch of the Brown family, has been outspoken about her experiences since her split in 2022. With Sister Wives season 19 coming soon, Meri has been continuing to speak up about what’s happened to her in the past, hopeful that sharing her experiences will keep others from repeating them in the future.
In the new podcast appearance on The Sarah Fraser Show, Meri and her close friend Jenn Sullivan appeared to chat with host Sarah Fraser, and revealed that there have been stalkers who show up to Meri’s bed and breakfast, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, in the past. “Oh yeah,” Meri confirmed. “There have been lots of stalkers.” When pressed about what’s happened, Jenn stepped in to explain.
Jenn shared that there have been stalkers who show up to the bed and breakfast in the past looking for Meri, but thankfully they’ve installed a great security system to keep people at bay. She explained that though they’ve tried to keep the peace, the Sister Wives star and her business partner have had to call law enforcement before to remove them from the property. Meri, who doesn’t speak much in the clip, appears to be unfazed by the slightly scary story.

Why Is Meri Brown Talking About Stalkers?
She Revealed Her Experiences & Her Dream Interactions
While Meri has had her share of internet drama through the years, the stalkers she’s had to deal with after appearing on Sister Wives have been more difficult. In the podcast clip, Meri seems unfazed by the drama, resigned to the fact that people have access to her personal and professional life. While it’s sad to see Meri unbothered by something so invasive, it’s also clear that she’s asked to talk about this frequently, so hearing her answer without much emotion isn’t exactly surprising. However, the Sister Wives star appeared giddy when Sarah asked about her dream podcast appearances.
During another clip of the podcast shared by the host, Meri revealed that she’d be interested in meeting Mel Robbins, who hosts a successful podcast. Visibly excited at the idea of meeting the podcaster, Meri shared she hadn’t met Mel in person yet. While Meri spoke highly of Mel, it was clear that Meri was excited for the opportunity to talk to Mel about the insipration she brings to others, which is what Meri is generally trying to do with her content. Meri often gets asked about the traumatic parts of her life, so talking about the positivity is key.
Although Meri has had to deal with some difficulties in the last few years, including more of a presence from the stalkers that Sister Wives brings into her life after he split from Kody, she keeps a positive outlook whenever possible. While Meri is usually open and honest about what happens in her life, she hasn’t shied away from talking about the difficulties, which can be tough to process publicly. Though the Sister Wives star is doing her best to move forward with positive energy, releasing the negativity can be helpful at times.
Sister Wives season 19 will premiere sometime this August.
