It’s almost time to crown a new Miss USA.
On August 4, 51 contestants will head to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the 73rd annual Miss USA pageant.
The pageant will take place just three months after Miss USA Noelia Voigt resigned as queen. Miss Teen USA UmaSofia Srivastava resigned two days later, and their mothers told Business Insider that the pair could not speak out directly about their experiences with the Miss USA organization because of NDAs.
Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii took over as Miss USA for Voigt and will crown the new winner at the pageant.
