One of Netflix’s top movies at the moment is Non Negotiable, a Mexican comedy thriller with a truly talented cast. The movie follows a man named Alan Bender, who is the best hostage negotiator in all of Mexico. However, his talents lead him to neglect his wife, Victoria. When the two enter couples therapy, Alan discovers that his wife has been cheating on him. Soon after, Alan is called in on an important job: the President of Mexico has been kidnapped. When Victoria and her lover are taken next, Alan must use his skills to save Mexico and his relationship.

Non Negotiable may have a small cast, but it is a mighty one. Mauricio Ochmann toes the line between action hero and ridiculous jester as the lead character, Alan. He is joined by other talented actors who have appeared in a number of notable Spanish-language movies and TV series. Many of Non Negotiable’s cast members are even award winners. Plus, the director Juan Taratuto’s years-long expertise in filmmaking, including films like It’s Not You, It’s Me and Papers in the Wind, helps make this movie the best it can be.

Actor: Mauricio Ochmann was born in Washington, D.C. His acting career started when he was only 16-years-old. He earned a small role in the show, La Otra Cosa. Just a couple of years later, Ochmann earned a minor role in the Kevin Costner movie, Message in a Bottle. Ochmann eventually broke out when he earned starring roles on a number of telenovelas, including Azul Tequila, Háblame de amor, Como en el cine, and Amarte así, Frijolito.
