Racquel Chevremont’s engagement ring can be seen from outer space!
During the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City on Tuesday, Oct. 15, Chevremont, 53, shocked her castmates as she showed off her massive, multi-stone engagement ring — which has several different diamonds included in the design.
The RHONY newcomer whipped out the dazzling piece of jewelry as she shared how her proposal with her fiancée Mel went down during a motorcycle ride to her castmates at a restaurant.
“We park all the bikes… And then everyone takes photos,” recalled Chevremont. “And I didn’t realize that everyone was staying away from us and she stands there … And then suddenly she goes to pull out a ring and I was like, ‘Are you f—ing kidding me?’ That was the first thing out of my mouth.”
The art collector then revealed her engagement ring to the group as she said, “It’s this whole situation.”
The show-stopping piece of jewelry is crafted with a thick entwined gold band with double center diamond stones surrounded by smaller diamonds — and it takes up most of Chevremont’s wedding hand.
“That’s your ring?!” Brynn Whitfield exclaimed. Designer and friend of the show Rebecca Minkoff then asked, “Do you wear this every day?”
“I do,” Chevremont replied. “I love that,” Minkoff, 42, added.
Chevremont explained in the confessional that her engagement ring has “black diamonds, white diamonds and cognac diamonds.”
“It’s, uh, you know, it’s very me,” she said. “…It’s an art piece on my hand.”
“This is something a neuropsychologist would purchase for you,” Erin Lichy added in the confessional, referring to Chevremont’s fiancée Mel who is a forensic neuropsychologist.
Chevremont’s relationship with Mel comes after she called off her engagement to her former collaborator Mickalene Thomas in 2020. She is also a mother of two kids — son Corey and daughter Elle.

The model and art collector is the second queer cast member on RHONY, after joining the latest season.
Speaking about representing the queer community on the show, Chervemont previously told GLAAD, “In the current world climate it’s important for not only our community to see themselves represented, but also for the world to get to know a queer family in a more intimate way and show that we all have more similarities than not.”
“Queer women can be successful, beautiful and in loving relationships raising children too. That this world exists,” she continued. “I want to bring more queer reality into the world.”
